Clinical Rotations

Are you an enrolled health professions student completing a rotation in a rural or underserved North Dakota community?

The North Dakota AHEC Clinical Rotation Program provides limited financial assistance to help offset costs associated with completing eligible rural or underserved clinical rotations. Support may include reimbursement for out-of-pocket travel and, when available, lodging or temporary housing expenses incurred beyond a student's permanent residence.

Because program resources are limited, not all applicants or expense types can be supported, and funding availability may vary.

Selected participants may receive a stipend after completing their rotation and submitting all required documentation.

An AHEC director will contact applicants to inform them of their eligibility to receive funds and obtain the additional information required for reporting and disbursement.

NOTE: Permanent address refers to a student's baseline out-of-pocket housing expenses associated with their primary residence (like rent, mortgage, dorm or campus housing).
